National TULO (Labour Unions) is seeking to recruit a Campaigns and Political Officer to work in our team in Westminster. (Due to the pandemic, we are currently working remotely and we are open to discussions about hybrid working arrangements in the future.)

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high quality campaigns and for supporting the political work of TULO to enhance the collective voice of the affiliated trade unions within the Labour Party. The successful candidate will also need excellent communication skills, experience of planning and leading campaigns, and the ability to build strong and effective relationships with stakeholders.

We are a small team, so we require someone who is able to work proactively, flexibly and collaboratively, and who shares our deep commitment to bringing the collective voices of 4 million trade unionists to the heart of the Labour Party and transforming the lives of working people for the better.

To apply for this role, complete the application form (and optional equality monitoring form) and return it no later than Sunday 4 July to helen@labourunions.org.uk with the subject line CAMPAIGNS JOB.

We will explore all reasonable adjustments to remove any barriers candidates might face due to sex, race, disability, age, sexual orientation, gender reassignment, gender identity, religion or belief, marital status, pregnancy and maternity or caring responsibilities.

Closing date: Midnight, Sunday 4 July

Interview date: 19, 20 or 21 July (Dependent on Government guidance, we hope that we will be able to offer shortlisted candidates the choice of an interview in person or via video call)
