The Labour Party are electing a new leader and deputy leader and we want every trade unionist to have their say. Affiliated trade union members can apply for free to become an Affiliated Supporter of the Labour Party below to get a vote in these elections. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Monday 3 Feb.
The Labour Party is a partnership of working people, through their affiliated trade unions, socialist societies and Labour Party members. The voice of trade unionists is crucial in ensuring that the Labour Party understand the reasons for the recent general election defeat and how we can re-build towards a Labour government that will transform the lives of working people for the better.
Do existing Affiliated Supporters need to re-register to receive a vote?
No, affiliated supporters already registered as such on the party’s membership system do not need to re-register.
Are new Trade Union Members eligible to receive a vote?
Yes, providing they joined the affiliated union before 5pm Monday 20 January
