We want to take a moment to reflect on an extraordinary year – made possible by activists like you. 2024 has been a year of challenges and triumphs. Working people and their families have borne the brunt of a struggling economy and public services pushed to the brink by 14 years of Tory mismanagement. But thanks to your dedication, we’ve risen to every challenge. It’s thanks to activists like you that this year we can celebrate Christmas with a Labour Government, and the promise of an Employment Rights Bill set to become law next year. |

The affiliated trade unions brought the voices of 4 million working people to the heart of the Labour Party. During the General Election we campaigned in every nation and region and ensured the New Deal for Working People was front and centre across every community. Together, we’ve brought hope to millions, built momentum for change, and helped secure a Labour Government committed to delivering a better future.
Next year will bring even more opportunities to make a difference. With important local elections ahead, the campaign to win the Scottish and Welsh Parliamentary elections in 2026 ramping up, and the Employment Rights Bill continuing its progress in Parliament, our movement has so much to fight for.
We’ve got exciting plans to share with you in the New Year. But for now, we want to say a heartfelt thank you for everything you’ve done to make 2024 extraordinary.
