We are heading into the final stretch before polling day on Thursday 1 May and the stakes could not be higher.
While Labour candidates and union activists are out in communities listening to residents, finding common ground, and bringing people together, Reform are spreading division and driving our communities apart.
They do not want activists like us to get out there and offer hope, and they certainly do not want us reminding voters what Reform really stand for. They claim to be standing up for working people, but judge them on their record: voting with the Tories to block our new workers’ rights at every opportunity.
We cannot let them get away with it.
The Runcorn by-election is a clear example of what is at stake, and Reform are throwing everything they have at it. Every doorstep conversation we have or leaflet we deliver in Runcorn will help make the difference on Thursday. We need as many activists as possible to get involved and volunteer during these crucial final days.
