SCOTTISH LABOUR UNIONS POLITICAL SCHOOL 2025

SCOTTISH LABOUR UNIONS POLITICAL SCHOOL  11 – 12 January 2025

Before you attend the Scottish Labour Unions Political School we are asking all delegates to complete this short questionnaire and do some preparation before the course to help us make sure you get the most you can out of the Political School.

We would like every attendee to provide a draft of a short ‘pitch’ of around 150/200 words for why you should be selected to stand for the Scottish Parliament. Please submit it via the survey form, alternatively you can send it directly to Robbie@labourunions.org.uk  by Thursday 8^th of January 25.

As part of our course we want students to develop this pitch and deliver a 5–8 minute selection speech on Sunday 12^th January. Your written pitch doesn’t need to be perfect. This ‘pitch’, or story should explain why local Party members should select you to be Labour’s candidate.
