Working people are finding it harder to make ends meet, jobs aren’t secure, and a decade of Tory cuts from Westminster has slashed the funding available for Welsh public services.

Wales simply cannot afford 5 more years of the Tories.

Labour in Wales will:

  1. Introduce a real Living Wage of at least £10 an hour immediately, for all workers aged 16 and over, and ban zero hours contracts.
  2. Protect our NHS from Tory privatisation and increase funding, with more doctors and nurses to give patients the care they need.
  3. Give power back to working people, strengthening unions to win higher pay, more job security and a better deal at work.
  4. Kick-start a Green Industrial Revolution, creating a million good, skilled jobs right across the UK.
  5. Give public service workers real pay rises, with a 5% pay rise in April, and above inflation pay rises every year to get pay back to where it was before the cuts.
  6. Build 20,000 affordable homes in Wales, and substantially increase the supply of social housing for rent, including council houses.
  7. Save people money on fares and bills by bringing rail, mail and energy into public ownership and rolling out a publicly owned full fibre broadband network, free to every home.
  8. Make bus services work in the interests of passengers, by introducing franchising and giving local councils the power to improve bus services.

For real change, vote Welsh Labour on 12 December.
